Auto Accident and Whiplash Treatment
How would your life change if you were in an auto-accident? Though measures are being taken to make the roads safer, the US Department of Transportation still reported that in the year 2006 there were 2,575,000 auto-accident related injuries in the United States.(1)
Of those injuries, insurance claims show that the majority of people involved in auto-accidents suffer from some degree of whiplash causing neck pain. These people need whiplash treatment.

Whiplash Diagnosis
Whiplash is diagnosed when the spine is stretched, or when the soft-tissue (including the muscle, the ligaments and tendons) are micro-torn.(2,3,4)
The G forces of an auto-accident cause the head to jerk through some 300 degrees of motion in less than 1/300 of a second.
The excessive jerking of the head causes the spine to stretch and the soft-tissue to micro-tear. This damage can occur at speeds less than 20 mph.(5) Treat the whiplash before it becomes serious.
Detecting Whiplash
Detecting whiplash can be difficult. Often the neck pain and stiffness symptomatic of whiplash does not surface until days and sometimes years after the auto-accident.(2,3,4) For this reason, auto-accident victims may not go to receive proper treatment until more a serious issue has developed.
Auto-accident victims who receive medical treatment may be improperly diagnosed. Why? Most soft tissue injuries are not usually detected by x-ray imaging technology until years after the injury (when more serious problems, like degenerative disk disease, have developed).
Alpine Spinal Rehabilitation has the technology to test for soft-tissue injuries with its MedX Series machines and provide a whiplash treatment. These MedX machines test for soft-tissue injury of the spine with 99% accuracy.
