What to Expect During Your First Chiropractic Visit

If you’ve never been to a chiropractor before, you’re probably wondering what happens during your first visit! Attending a visit to the chiropractor should be an enjoyable experience.

When you come in to Alpine Spinal Rehab for the first time we start by giving you a tour of the office. Next our technicians will take you to complete X-rays of your spine. After your X-rays are complete, one of our doctors will see you. While with the doctor you will complete a spinal screening and you will receive your first adjustment. We are excited to offer both manual adjustments and adjustments using the ProAdjuster. The ProAdjuster is a unique technology that provides a gentler alternative to manual adjustments. Not very many clinics currently have access to this type of technology, so if you’ve never been able to experience it before, we highly recommend coming in and trying it for yourself!

Before you leave you will also complete whichever passive therapy our doctors have decided will be best for your specific situation. Passive therapies can include treatments such as therapeutic ultrasounds and electronic stimulations, among other treatments.

We will then set up a second visit with you as you’re leaving and set up a time for you to return to speak with one of our managers. During this second visit we will give you a report of findings on your X-rays and set up a plan to continue helping you in the future!
